We transferred over 80% of the technology and improvements first developed for our world-beating Galileo SX PowerCell line conditioner directly into the new PowerCell SX. We then added Orange Capacitors to its power supply and ULF field generator and our new Orange Duplexes to improve PowerCell SX performance. All Active EM Cells are larger and more densely packed with 25% more surface area than the PowerCell 12’s rolled EM Cells for an increase in EM Cell efficiency and enhanced energy storage for power delivery and percieved dynamic range.
At the heart of the PowerCell SX is the Galileo SX’s power supply for biasing all six of its internal Active EM Cells, and we incorporated the Galileo SX’s Ground Plane for a dramatic drop in your system’s noise floor. Lessons learned from the Galileo SX PowerCell development program include the same harmonic of the Earth’s Schumann resonance first determined in double-blind testing to deliver greater detail and holographic realism over the PC 12 SE’s original bias frequency. Additionally, the new power supply and field generator first developed for Galileo SX biases all six Active EM Cells. In contrast, the PowerCell 12 SE only biases its single flat Active EM Cell with the Earth’s Schumann Resonance for a fundamental transformation over PowerCell 12 SE.
Ground filtration is enhanced through the use of a new wiring topology developed for Galileo SX PowerCell to lower a system’s noise floor. Optionally, the PowerCell SX can be connected to our Active Ground Block through a new dedicated ground connection that lowers its noise floor further still and without sacrificing any of its 12 AC outlets. A very useful feature for systems that require all twelve AC outlets.
And PowerCell SX has the wow factor covered with a front amp meter that displays the amperage delivered to your system as it allows you to see the beautiful hand-built circuit inside and an additional large view window on the top will enable you to enjoy its American hand made craftsmanship. You can even change the color and intensity of the light that illuminates both the front amp meter and a top view window. Select between Galileo White, Dante Red, Synergistic Research Blue, and McIntosh Blue to match its lighting to other components in your system. And if you prefer no light at all you can choose to be boring, it’s all up to you.
Galileo SX Cables
Galileo SX represents the pinnacle of what we currently know in the field of building audio cables for high-resolution audio systems. We start with complex hand built geometries with Air, Teflon, and Silk dielectrics, pure 99.9999% monofilament silver conductors, 4th generation Tricon geometries, custom designed silver connectors that reduce the amount of material to only what is needed for maximum signal transfer, star point grounding for digital and analogue interconnects that reduces series inductance and noise, new redesigned UEF Tuning Circuits that deliver higher levels of resolution and musicality, and totally new technologies like Matrix UEF Shielding for a lower system noise floor with unparalleled low frequency impact and overall musicality, and a proprietary 1,000,000 volt conditioning process that permanently alters how signal travels through a conductor for more efficient signal transfer as well as a second conditioning process first developed for our Blue Fuses that dramatically improves musicality for ultra resolution without listening fatigue. And we apply the same UEF Compound first developed for our SR Blue fuses to various components of each cable’s design for the best interconnects, speaker cables and power cords we have ever hand built in our California factory.
Due to the complexity of Galileo SX and because your music signal are perhaps more influenced by your speaker cables than any other cable or component in your system save your speakers, Galileo SX speaker cables are perhaps the most improved of all Galileo SX cables; there are simply more elements within the cable’s design for our new UEF Technologies to act when improving the overall sound of your system.
Galileo SX Speaker Cables are made by hand in our California factory from (4) High Current Silver Matrix geometries, (1) 4th Generation Tricon Silver Matrix geometry, (3) Hand Made Pure Silver / Graphene AirString Geometries and (1) Hand Made Pure Tungsten AirString geometry. All nine parallel geometries utilize our new UEF Graphene Matrix Shielding with a new UEF Graphene Compound first developed for our amazing SR Blue Fuses. For added clarity, each individual geometry is separately sheathed to cancel cable resonance. This gives you clear, effortless sound with natural
decay and timbre. When voicing these speaker cables, we added a Tungsten AirString Geometry for the unique sound staging properties of tungsten as determined during a 6-month double-blind listening test conducted to find alternate conductors for audio cables.
As with Galileo SX Interconnects, we engineered a complex Multi-Layer UEF Inductive Cell and coupled it to each cable’s nine shields, twelve signal conductors and ground and we dramatically improved its function with the addition of a new UEF Graphene Compound first developed for SR Blue Fuses. At the heart of Galileo UEF speaker cables’ performance is its UEF Inductive Cell made from Pure Silver Foils and Graphene with a dielectric made from Japanese Silk, chosen for the warmth, and layering silk delivered over traditional dielectric materials discovered during a series of double-blind listening tests and this too was improved over Galileo UEF with the addition of the same UEF Graphene Compound used in SR Blue Fuses.
To custom voice Galileo SX to your system you select between two bespoke UEF Tuning Modules voiced expressly for Galileo SX which have likewise been improved with the same UEF Compound as found in SR Blue Fuses so that the final decision between Silver and Gold is less a trade-off between two unique ’sounds’ and more about choosing between two different options that share far more in common than they did before. The Silver option is uniquely musical with a deeper and richer harmonic structure than the older Silver circuit without giving up detail or nuance in the sound field. The Gold UEF Tuning Module imparts a warm and musical balance replete with maximum soundstage bloom. A third option is to simply not attach either UEF Tuning Modules but the choice is yours to make based on the option that makes music in your system.
Lastly, we treat the entire cable first to the same propriety conditioning process as SR Blue Fuses so that the overall balance is completely musical, relaxed and yet as dynamic and detailed as the most analytical cables on the market, but with the musicality of cables that gloss over dynamics and detail. With Galileo SX you won’t have to compromise between accuracy and musicality, you simply get it all. And we treat them with 1,000,000 volts of electricity on or big Tesla Coil with a new frequency sweep that permanently enhances a cables ability to transmit signal without loss or degradation. You hear all the frequency and phase detail in perfect time alignment and this makes them the most holographic and realistic sounding speaker cables on the planet today.
Galileo SX Power Cables start by adding an internal Active EM Cell to the ground as first developed in our 25th Anniversary Power Cord, the SR25. And by applying the same UEF material we first developed for our BLUE fuses to the internal EM Cell, we improve on all aspects of power cable performance including a lower noise floor, so you hear greater levels of detail with increased musicality thanks to a complete absence of noise. Frequency linearity from your connected components is also greatly improved so you hear a significant increase in frequency linearity and information that is balanced and musical. Also borrowing from the SR25 is the Galileo SX’s ability to ground the SR Active EM Cell to an SR Ground Block or Active Ground Block which increases system performance further still.
Next, we improve on the Galileo SXs Swiss made power-supply encased in carbon fiber that drives the cable’s Active EM Cell and the Active Shielding with UEF Technology from our BLUE Fuses. And again this lowers your connected component’s noise floor, so you hear greater detail, finesse, and impact. From the lowest frequencies to the air that rides above your soundstage and all frequencies in between. To say this is a major improvement would be an understatement.
Lastly, we applied our latest UEF Matrix Shielding first developed for our Limited Edition SR25 power cables for the single greatest improvement to Galileo SXs sound quality. By improving Active Shielding and Active EM Cell performance with Blue Fuse and SR25 technologies we affect greater noise cancellation at the shields and ground while maintaining the AC Signal with a minimum of dielectric interaction for the most effortless and lifelike sound of any Galileo power cable to date.
Galileo SX starts with the most complex interconnect geometry we’ve ever hand built in our California factory from pure 99.9999% Silver with Teflon and Air Dielectrics. We then apply a new UEF Graphene compound first developed for our SR Blue fuses for increased low-frequency impact and control, as well as increased detail and musicality. The shields have also been reworked with a new UEF Matrix Shielding Pattern that dramatically lowers your systems noise floor to deliver a holographic sound field that is totally effortless and completely musical.
Next, we reworked the multi-layer UEF Inductive Filters encased in carbon fibre to condition signal outside the signal path with a new UEF Graphene Compound from our SR Blue Fuses. Together these innovations lower your noise floor for detail and nuance that otherwise would go unnoticed. And we’ve revoiced the Galileo UEF Tuning Modules voiced expressly for Galileo SX so you experience increased resolution with non-fatiguing musicality, whether you select the new Silver or the Gold Tuning Modules. In short, we took the world’s highest performance interconnects and significantly upped their game with an emphasis on decreasing the noise floor and increasing musical satisfaction with a sound that is detailed, harmonically rich, and holographic.
Lastly, we treat each Galileo SX interconnect with the same conditioning process we developed for SR Blue Fuses and this increases their musicality as well as shortens their break-in time so you spend more time listening to music, not waiting for your cables to burn-in. And of course, we hit each Galileo SX interconnect with 1,000,000 volts of electricity on our big Tesla Coil with a new sweeping frequency pattern that dramatically improves how the signal propagates for the most efficient signal transfer possible.
